Refund Policy

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be issued when:

  • A parent cancels before the first scheduled lesson.
  • Technical issues on our side prevented sessions from being delivered.
  • The assigned tutor fails to conduct lessons without an alternative arrangement.
  • Duplicate payments occurred.

No refunds are provided for missed lessons, partial usage, or personal dissatisfaction once lessons have begun.

2. Request Procedure

  1. Email refunds@smartmindsacademy.co.za within 7 days of the issue.
  2. Include registered email, child’s name, and subscription details.
  3. We respond within 5 working days. Approved refunds take 7–14 business days.

3. Subscription Cancellations

Cancellations take effect at the end of the billing cycle. Access remains active until the period ends. No prorated refunds are issued.

4. Platform Credit

Parents may choose platform credit instead of a refund. Credits are valid for 6 months and can be used for sibling accounts or future lessons.
